The F/MCC Warriors wrestled two of the top teams in the section last Thursday. First up for the Warriors was the Fairmont/MCW Red Bulls.
Dawson Blakenship started it off for the Warriors facing Lucas Jagodziniske. The Red Bull came out and took Dawson down and put him to his back, but Dawson was not going to relinquish the pin to the Red Bull and Dawson ended up losing 13-1.
Next up for the Warriors was Danny Blankenship who was up against Connor Simmonds. Simmonds and Blankenship came out and wrestled a 2-0 first period. Simmonds rode Danny out the second period and ended up pinning the Warrior in third period.
Christian Kuball was slated next against Payton Anderson the returning state runner-up. Christian came out and tried taking the Red Bull down only to lose via fall.
