After coming off a three-set victory over the Edgerton Flying Dutchman, the Rebels advanced in post season play to take on the number one seeded Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Panthers.  The Panthers have always been a tough team to battle with and this match was no different as the Rebels played their final game of the season.

The Rebels had a slow start to the match as the Panthers came out and dominated the first set.  TMB took an early 5-0 lead before the Rebels got a point back on a kill from Elise Rohrer.  The Panthers added a couple more points, but the Rebels took advantage of some errors at the net to close the gap down to 7-5 in favor of the Panthers.  At that point, the Panthers took off on a seven-point run by taking advantage of Rebel errors and with big hitting up front to go up 14-5.  A tip at the net from Brooklyne Miller along with an ace serve from Ciarra Schmidt broke that run, but the Panthers found a way to keep scoring against the Rebels.  At the end of the set, the Panthers comfortably took the first set victory, 25-10.

Going into the second set, everyone thought that the Panthers had all the momentum, but the Rebels were sparked by the loss and bounced back.  The Panthers got the opening point but the Rebels got it right back off a Mallory Loosbrock tip at the net.  TMB quickly went up 4-1, but the Rebels stayed right with the Panthers.  When the score got tied at six points, a net violation call gave the Rebels their first lead, which was followed by a big spike from Katlyn Knakmuhs.
