1934 – Fred Knorr – 2016

  Fred Knorr, the son of Gustave and Minnie (Kammeier) Knorr, was born on November 4, 1934 in Brewster, Minnesota. He grew up on the farm and attended country school. Fred was united in marriage to Mary Meyer on June 2, 1963 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Fulda, Minnesota. After their marriage they lived in Fulda. Over the years he worked at the Fulda Elevator and drove school bus. Fred remained at home after Mary passed away in August 2007. Fred passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the age of 81. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church rural Fulda. He enjoyed drawing, the Minnesota Twins, playing cards on the computer and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his daughter Kim Knorr, New Ulm, MN; son Brian (Stacy) Knorr, Bowdoin, ME; five grandchildren: Christopher, Jamie, Pierce, Rielle and Jackson Knorr; two sisters: Joyce Schweigert, Fulda, MN and Lola Schwarz, Duluth, MN; brother Bob Knorr, Fulda, MN, many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; two sisters: Wilma Noble and Darleen Cale and six brothers: Bill, Walt, Earl, Leonard, Gus and Donald Knorr.

Funeral services were held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church rural Fulda, MN at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2016 with Rev. Rachel Wrenn officiating. Interment at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery rural Fulda, MN. Send condolences online at www.totzkefuneralhome.com.
