Janelle Van Meveren announced last week she will be returning to the area as an insurance agent for Farmers Insurance.
Van Meveren purchased an agency in Sioux Falls on September 1st and has decided to expand that agency to offer products in Slayton as well. Van Meveren joined Farmers Insurance in March beginning the training process and learning the line of products they have to offer.
She left Slayton in June of 2014 and according to her, is excited to be back in the area again. “I really missed Slayton,” commented Van Meveren. “With this opporunity (purchasing the Sioux Falls agency) came that option and which was extremely exciting to me.” She continued, “I really wanted to come back to this community.”
