Aircraft rescue and firefighting involves the response, hazard mitigation, evacuation and possible rescue of passengers and drew of an aircraft involved in (typically) and airport ground emergency.
Last Wednesday night departments from Currie, Slayton, Lake Wilson and Dovray spent the night learning the details involved in this type of firefighting and rescues.
The crews gathered in Currie and under instruction from ARFF, they studied the correct way to deal with this situation.
