More Snow….

It seems like it’s the same story…different day. This year’s snow events have everyone wondering when it will ever end.

Last week schools were in session one day as weather prohibited travel. Students managed to make the day on Monday, however, by that evening snow began falling once again with accumulations nearing five inches. Travel on area roads became quite hazardous with visibilities very limited in some areas.

With the deluge of snow, most schools were running two hours late Tuesday but were forced once more to close for the safety of the students. Forecasters predicted increasing winds throughout the day with projections pointing at 30-35 mph by mid-afternoon. With the additional snow received winds were likely to create whiteout conditions.
