MCC faces off against Adrian and Hills Beaver Creek

A tough loss for the Rebel boys in Thursday’s triangular. MCC’s boys lost to HBC by one stroke, and beat Adrian by 9 strokes. Though the boys struggled in the windy conditions, they pulled in some impressive scores. Tyler Groves came away with another 1st place individual medal, with a score of 41. MCC shot a 192 to take second place in the triangular. Jack Pierson shot a solid 44, and Cole Ahlers shot a 48 with some great drives. MCC’s two 8th graders Dawson Tutt 59, and Kolby Frisk 73, did well and kept grinding and played hard through the tough conditions.

  On the girls side MCC finished in second place as well with a team score of 222. MCC’s Abby Hamman battle hole by hole with Adrian’s Alexia Kemper for the 1st place individual medal. Abby came up just short with a 45 and settle with 2nd place individually. The rest of the Rebel golfers came in with great scores and did well right off the tee box. Amber Boock shot a 55, and Paige Behrends followed right behind her with a 56. Finishing up for MCC was Kylie Frisk 66 and Vanessa Dahlgren 67.
