Jottings by Jerry – November 22

The past two weeks have been a wash for accomplishments. I had neck surgery on November 6th and this week I could be back out in the world. There was cutting, reaming and being fused back together with a few screws. The recovery is moving along. This week Monday I had sixteen staples removed and my neck held together better than I thought it would. I missed the season for deer hunting which was a disappointing side effect.

Thursday it is Thanksgiving and most will gather with family and friends. It a good time of the year. While you gather, know that you are a very important part of our family. You are the reader that makes the circle complete. We wish you a very a joyful holiday and have a Happy Thanksgiving. We appreciate you!

A couple was having a discussion about family finances.

Finally, the husband exploded, “If it weren’t for my money, the house wouldn’t be here!”

The wife replied, “Honey, if it weren’t for your money, you wouldn’t be here!”
