Jottings by Jerry – June 13

All the rain we need and more on the way. Monday afternoon gave us the extra rain that’s not needed at this point. The rest of the week will be rain free and warm

Fulda will celebrate with the Wood Duck Festival. The weather looks good for all the entertainment. I will be missing some of the highlights for the granddaughter’s wedding. We are looking forward to it. Plans are made and all that’s left is to enjoy it. My part is minimal, just stand there, look sociable and don’t belch.

There will be a time to remember this year and the weather it brought. Late snowstorms, early heat and we are not halfway through the year. Then as we are going to print, President Trump is going toe to toe with the head of North Korea. The results will be history and the subject of considerable discussion pro and con. Hopefully, the world will be a better and safer place.

I love the smell of

freshly brewed coffee

In the morning

And I love the sound

of no one talking

to me while I’m drinking it.

Have a good week.
