Cabin 10 is a group of five boys between the ages of 12-16 years old. They will be playing on Saturday, August 20th at 2:00 p.m. at the Murray County Fair under the big tent.
Teri Muck Cannon, daughter of Les and Sue Muck of Slayton, is the public relations person for the group. Her son, Spencer Cannon, age 16, is the lead guitar for Cabin 10.
The current band came together approximately two years ago. The group is a combination of two bands – Spencer belonged to a school rock band and a neighborhood band. He, along with Ricky, who also plays guitar and is 16, have been together for six year.
Their name, Cabin 10, was a result of a place. The three oldest member stayed together in Cabin 10 at bible camp so it seemed approxpriate to title their group ‘Cabin 10’.
