Warriors participate in tri-angular in Worthington

The Murray County Central/Fulda wrestlers traveled to Worthington on Thursday, January 17th. They were part of a triangular meet with Fairmont/Martin County West and Worthington.

The F/MCW is currently ranked fifth in the state and is armed with no less than 10 state-ranked individuals. The Warriors were dominated in their first match with the Red Bulls defeating them 84-0.

At 106 Landen Like-Bonnstetter faced off with Jesse Pots who pinned Bonnstetter at 1:22.

Rylan Behnke, 145 pounds, was pitted against Payton Anderson. Behnke fought hard but in the end was caught at 3:11 for the pin.

Wrestling at 152 pounds Christian Kuball headed into the ring to do battle with Miles Fitzgerald. Kuball was put to the mat and Fitzgerald earned the pin at 1:17.

AT 195 pounds Koyer Wendorff battled Shayne Steibrink who made quick work pinning the Warrior in 21 seconds.

In junior varsity action, Jesse lost by pin to Andy Lawrence while Ryder Henning took Michael Johnson to a full three periods losing a 10-14 decision.
