United Way of Southwest Minnesota Invests in K-12 Financial Literacy Programs

K-12 Financial Literacy Programs of Junior Achievement of Lyon County was awarded a $9,500 grant through United Way of Southwest Minnesota’s (UWSWMN) community impact grant process. This community partner program aligns with UWSWMN’s financial stability priority area, as this program works to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in the global economy.

UWSWMN initiatives, community partner programs, and partnerships will serve 52,600 local people in 2019-20. Community volunteers from throughout our service area review local grant requests and make funding recommendations to our local Board of Directors to be certain donations to UWSWMN make the most impact.
