Following the losses during the week, the Rebels had a weekend double header against KMS for a non-conference matchup.  The Rebels struggled to get much offense going as both games fell short for the Rebels.

KMS got the first runs of the game in the bottom of the second when they tallied three runs to go up comfortably early.  MCC bounced back in the top of the third inning with a run of their own. With one out, Cameron Kresko beat out an infield single before an error moved him to second base.  Back to back walks with two outs in the inning allowed Kresko to plate the first Rebels run of the game, but the bases were left loaded on a looking strikeout.

After a few scoreless innings, KMS got back to scoring as they added three more runs just like they did in the bottom of the second inning.  Despite a few hits, the Rebels couldn’t get any more runs across and KMS took game one of the double header, 6-1.

Matt Woldt, Danny Blankenship, Cameron Kresko, Nate Everson, and Trevor Ackerman each had base knocks in the game.  Drew Coulter pitched the first five innings giving up four hits and three runs while striking out two batters. Cameron Boerboom finished the game out on the mound for MCC.
