Earlier this week, the Rebels hit the road for a conference match up with the cross county Fulda Raiders. The Rebels have had plenty of success against the Raiders in the past and this time, the Raiders gave the Rebels a bit of a battle in the first couple of sets but still remained on top.
The final score between the first and second sets in the match were the exact same thing. The Rebels were able to hold an upper edge against the Raiders for the length of each set. However, the Raiders were able to stay right with Murray County Central during those sets as well. Only a few points separated the two teams out in the end, but the Rebels held on to take a 25-22 win in the first and second sets.
Shortly after the two wins, the Rebels gained a comfortable lead and didn’t look back. Momentums stayed on their side and the Raiders couldn’t get anything going to come back from the deficit. The Rebels cruised in the third set to take a 25-17 win along with a 3-0 sweep in the match.
