Murray County Central Rebel boys garner first place at Fulda Invite in Slayton

Fulda hosted their annual invite in Slayton last Tuesday, April 18th. The Murray County Central Boys nipped out a first place finish earning 110.75 over second place Pipestone Area’s 97.75.

Helping lead the way were first place finishers Ethan Swanson finishing first in both the 100 and 200-meter dashes. He also earned second place in the long jump with his leap of 19’.

Garhok Gatchay finished the day with not only a first place ribbon but also earned his personal record leaping 19’4” in the long jump.

Patrick Platt cruised the 1600 meter run in 4:55.38 and a second place medal. Justin Clarke also earned a season record on Tuesday clocking a time of 11:19.43 and a second place medal.

Mason Whitehead earned PRs in both the 110 and 300 meter hurdle events and garnered second place in both events with times of 18.01 and 43.64 respectively.

Zach Aanenson finished second in the pole vault clearing the bar at 10’.
