MCC Junior speech team nabs 1st place at TMB, compete at Luverne

The Murray County Central junior high speech students traveled to Tracy on Feburary 18th. Twenty-one MCC students attended competed in the invitational at TMB.

The results of the day are as follows:

First Place:

2nd Place:

Wyatt Biren – Creative Expression; Symone Harms – Serious Drama

3rd Place:

Dawson Blankenship – Serious Prose; Brailynn Breberg – Serious Poetry; Lindsey Hause – Great Speeches’ Lauren Stoel – Storytelling

Fourth Place:

Ranissa Beerman – Serious Prose; Kyle Cheskie – Discussion

5th Place:

Briana Engelkes – Serious Prose; William Lundy – Discussion

6th Place:

Danica Behnke – Serious Prose

Tate Tromblay – Storytelling

Ribbons:

Abdiel Castillo – Serious Poetry; Hannah Herrig – Serious Drama; Ashton Kalas – Serious Prose; Ryanna Schreier – Extemporaneous Reading
