The MCC Rebel girls were at home on Friday night in front of a paltry crowd. With a big rivalry game being played in Fulda on Friday the home crowd was very small. The Rebels were in action against the Lac Qui Parle Valley Eagles. The Eagles are a strong team led by a pair of young guards who can do just about everything. The Rebels were coming off a tough one point loss to RTR on Monday but Friday the game was not one of the Rebels better efforts.

It was a slow moving first half. Some of that could have been the Rebels defense, some of it could have been the long road trip for the Eagles. Whatever it was, both teams were sluggish early on.

The Rebels could get nothing going on offense with poor shooting and seven first half turnovers they didn’t get easy looks.

The Eagles were not great either struggling with some turnovers and just a lack of rhythm. The Eagles led at halftime in a low scoring game 18-5.
