Justin Clarke and Morgan Gehl advance to state cross country meet

The Rebels Cross Country Team wrapped up their season on Thursday at the Section 3A meet in Luverne. The meet started with the boys varsity 5k race. Finishing first for the Rebels and 12th overall was freshman, Justin Clarke with a time of 17.14. Justin qualified as an individual for the Minnesota State Cross Country Meet. Finishing next for the Rebels was senior Isaiah Olsem. Isaiah wrapped up his career with a 20th place finish and a time of 17:51.

Cameron Kresko  crossed the finish line with a 24th place finish and a time of 18:04. Not far behind was Nathan Everson in 26th place with a time of 18:10. Spencer Wajer clocked a time of 18:24. Jack Pierson crossed the line with a time of 19:04. Wrapping things up for the Rebels was Kyler Deacon with a time of 19:51. The Rebel Boys team finished third place overall out of 19 total teams with 71 points.

Following the boys, the girls varsity 5k race got started. Finishing first for the rebels and fourth place overall was eighth grade runner Morgan Gehl. Morgan qualified as an individual for the Minnesota State Cross Country Meet.
