Murray County Central golf hosted a chilly meet against Fulda and Hills-Beaver Creek on Thursday, April 27. The triangular was varsity only for the boys and girls. The Rebel girls took another sweet victory; defeating Fulda by 45 strokes and HBC who had an incomplete team. The boys team walked away in second place defeating HBC, but losing to Fulda by 18 strokes.

Despite the frigid conditions a few golfers from MCC finished the meet with solid scores, sweeping the individual medals on both sides. For the boys Tyler Groves shot a 41, birdied hole 2, and took 1st place. Right behind him Jack Pierson carded a 42 and also birdied on hole 7, earning him 2nd place. On the girls side, Abby Hamman battled through a tough round of bogey golf and shot a final of 49 for the 1st place individual medal. Following behind her was Amber Boock who walked away with a 52 for 2nd place. Paige Behrends 57 and Martina Thunder Hawk 58, also shot solid scores to help the Rebel girls take 1st place as a team.
