Residents attend board meeting for public hearings and open forum
Commissioner Robert Moline announced the hospital board will hold a public meeting sometime the last week in March at a place and time yet to be decided.

The board accepted a donation of $500.00 from the Corn and Soybean Growers Association to be used for the cattle barn renovation at the fairgrounds. To date $24,629.34 has been donated.

In addition to the resolution for termination of the Minnesota River Board a final payment of $312.50 was made.

Three Conditional Use Permits were considered for approval. Andy Edmundson plans to construct and operate a new feedlot for a total confinement swine finishing barn for 2,400 head (over 720 animal units) in the SE 1/4, Section 28, Cameron Township. Five special conditions were added. Trees are already in place.
