Recipes: Catfish Cakes; Apple-Cheddar-Sausage Bake; and Rocky Chili
Generally we think of winter as a good time to do those special projects when it is just too cold to be outdoors. We have had plenty of time to that this year. I don’t remember when we have had so many below zero days and just small amounts of snow often except for this past week when we got five to six inches. The whole country seems to have been inundated with unusual winter weather this year. Remember the ice storm of last year. Ruth sent pictures of the ice accumulations last week. The streets seemed to be okay but many branches were broken and icicles hung from the leaves on the trees.
