Recipes: Homemade Bread; Apple Raisin Bread; and Angel Biscuits
Recently I tried a couple of boxes of bread mix. It was real easy as all you do is add water, let it set for a couple of hours, make the loaf, let it rise and bake at 450º for 20 or so minutes. No kneading. Looked good, nice texture but the taste was not very palatable. I contacted the company and told them of my disappointment and they replied back immediately for more information. So far I haven’t heard from them again. The second box didn’t make as nice a loaf but the flavor was better although the texture was not as good.
