soar over Rebels in Red Rock Conference match up
The MCC Rebel Girls had one of their biggest games of the season Tuesday January 13th when they hosted the Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles. The Eagles and Rebels were tied for second place in the Red Rock Conference with both teams losing just one game. Both teams lost to Fulda, the Rebels by two points and the Eagles by just one. The Rebels and the Eagles have played some very close games over the years and the fans were hoping to see something similar in this game. Unfortunately that wasn’t to be as SWC Eagles took advantage of Rebel mistakes to pull away with a convincing victory over the Rebels.

The Rebels strength this season has been on the offensive end of the basketball court especially over the last four games where the Rebels have averaged nearly 70 points per game. The Rebels earlier this season against both Windom and Pipestone struggled on the offensive end and took ten point losses in both games.
