After classes resumed at both Fulda and Murray County Central, the Warrior wrestling team began practicing again to prepare for their first meets since break. During this last week, the Warriors were busy with competing on three different days, and they started it all off in Marshall with a triangular against the Tigers and the Adrian Dragons.

In Marshall, the Warriors battled first in the triangular against the Dragons and just like in past years, the Dragons have always been a very tough opponent and proved it once again on Tuesday. After a double forfeit in the 106 pound class, Clayton Hartle matched up with Alex Furestenberg and he was able to win by decision 7-2 to give the Warriors a 3-0 lead. However, that win by Hartle was the only win that the Warriors were able to pick up against the Dragons that match. Four consecutive pins gave the Dragons a big advantage, and they continued to add to it with major decision matches. Dylan Nelson was the only wrestler that was battling for a win in the 182 pound class, but he fell short by decision, 6-3.
