Recipes: Potato Nugget Nachos; Witch’s Wassail; and Friendly Ghost Cupcakes
Halloween Week, yes, it appears to be more than one day now as the preparations for the big evening go on for more days than just the single day especially when it comes in the middle of the week. When our children were small and living on the farm we didn’t take them trick or treating but the Lake Wilson Community Club always put on a party for the kids that we usually attended. Along with the treats there was a custom costume. We never bought costumes but had a lot of fun finding old clothes to be bums, Little Red Riding Hood, etc. One year I did make Mary an orange dress and put on a face that could later be taken off so she could wear it to school.
