falls to Minneota Vikings

The MCC Rebels travelled to Minnesota on Thursday night to take on the best team in the Little Sioux Conference. The Rebels had a chance to play both Dawson Boyd and Adrian, two teams who were undefeated at the time. The Rebels played them but neither team had the overall balance from offense to defense. The Vikings are one of the best teams the Rebels have played not only this year but maybe in the past several years. The Rebels knew what they were facing going into the game and it was a yellow and blue buzz saw that could cut just about anyway it needed or wanted too. The Rebels fought hard but they just didnít have the matchups to face the Vikings.

Minneota/Lincoln Hi is currently ranked in the top 10 in Class AA in the state of Minnesota. The Vikings, as they get to the end of the season, the question is how will they compete against the bigger teams they will face in two weeks. Against the teams of the Little Sioux Conference they have not been tested to the point they will in the near future.
