Hicktown Mafia will perform from 8:00 - 12:00 at the city maintenance building
Its tough being German, but somebody has to do it.
As many Wilmont residents share a German heritage, the town will host its own Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 21. It will be a day of food, beverages, vendors, dancing and pretending to be German, even if you are not.

The original celebration began in Munich, Barvaria (Germany) when Crown Prince Ludwig (later to become King Ludwig I) was married to Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen on October 12, 1810. The citizens of Munich were invited to attend the festivities held on the fields in front of the city gates to celebrate the happy royal event. They celebrated for 16 days.
