MURRAY COUNTY COMMISSIONERS:

By: Dorothy Bloemendaal, staff writer

Museum and cattle barn discussed at open forum
The Teryjon Aviation bill of $16,294.33 for spraying the open ditches was approved by the Murray County Board of Commissioners at their meeting on Tuesday, August 27. Commissioner James Jens had observed the weed kill was only about 75 percent and less in some places. Teryjon Aviation makes a complete log of wind and temperature of the spraying times that may affect the weed kill. Also the spraying was not done last year and the weeds appeared to be stronger this year. The spraying of the ditches was done on June 30 and July l.

One ditch petition was approved for repair of County Ditch 7, Section 10, Cameron Township. Ditch bills submitted and to be paid were $24,487.19.
