looking to take Conference title
By: Sean Solheim Murray County News Sports

After an 11-9 record last season, the Murray County Central volleyball team looks to have a dominating year. With a full squad of Seniors and some underclassman, coach Kati Bobeldyk is confident that the team will contend for the conference title this year.

Five Seniors left the team due to graduation and those included Taylor Schreier, Macy Halbur, Morgan Beckmann, Ashley Clarke, and Ashtin Scotting. This season, the Rebels feature nine Seniors on the team, and they include Kristi Bose, Lindsey Barritt, Bailey Jacobson, Hannah Schmidt, McKenzie Schmitz, Paris Thomas, Dana Vander Wal, Kenda Blomgren and Carlie Ludolph. Kristi Bose has seen the most varsity time as she’s been a big part of the offensive attack since she played her first game in her 8th grade year.
