in China
By: Sheila Crowley Murray County News Staffwriter Molly Bass, a 2012 graduate of Murray County Central, recently returned from China. She joined a Bemidji State University group for a four week musical experience teaching Chinese students about electronic instruments.

The BSU student electronic music group, “Voltage,” experienced life and culture in China. The student exchange will not be a one-way street. As a result of these partnerships, Bemidji State will be hosting international students this fall as well.

Molly Bass, keyboard player, was among five other students who spent the month at Weifang University. While there, they took morning classes and practiced with WFU music students in the afternoon to prepare for a joint performance during the third week of their visit. They also traveled to Beijing to perform at two other partner universities.
