Colton's Story

Colton Jay Post was a gift from God born on December, 27 2010 as a beautiful calm boy born about 4 weeks early, but he had no physical complications. Colton was an all American farm boy he loved riding in the tractor, combine, ranger and (his favorite) bobcat where he loved to watch it pick up bales. When he had to be inside he would still be playing with his farm equipment, animals in his barn and watching cars. When he was only 14 months, he and his family received another gift from God - a baby sister, Kya, who he loved, hugged and gave many kisses. Colton's attitude towards everything was something admirable to all, he was a calm and quiet (sometimes) boy.

Colton's health life seemed to be very normal for the first 20 months, a few fevers from teething and only one ear infection which he toleranted. He always had a wonderful pain tolerance. All of that changed in mid July 2012 when he woke up one morning and could no longer put pressure on his left foot. Colton was just starting to walk a few weeks before this and the night before he did a lot of walking/running at a family friend's house.
