MCMC Audit

July 10, 2013

reveals a strong financial Performance
The financial condition of the Murray County Medical Center ranks it among the best health centers of any size in the country, according to an audit of the health provider.

Released in May by CliftonLarsonAllen's Austin office, the audit was accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation given to the county supervisor's board in May that revealed how the 25-bed health provider compared with other "critical access" hospitals with revenues of under $25 million, as well as much larger institutions.

"MCMC was one of the top 35 performing hospitals in the country five years ago, a group we call the 'gold standard,' and it still performs very well," said Trenton Fast, a CPA and partner in the health care division of CLA.
