IN MEMORY OF Lorraine Catherine Wisdorf

Funeral services will be held at St. Gabrielís Catholic Church Fulda, MN at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 with Fr. Andrew Vogel celebrating.

Lorraine Wisdorf, the daughter of John and Cora (Haberman) Miranowski, was born on August 28, 1922 in Fulda, Minnesota.†She grew up on the family farm and attended St. Gabrielís Catholic School and the Fulda High School, graduating in 1940. She then moved to St. Louis Park, Minnesota and received her degree from Paulís Beauty School. Lorraine was united in marriage to Bernard Wisdorf on August 7, 1945 at St. Gabrielís Catholic Church in Fulda.†After their marriage they lived on the Wisdorf family farm for a year before moving to the Haberman farmstead 2 miles east of Fulda, which had been in the family for over a century. Ben passed away in May of 1987.†She continued living on the farm until 1995 when she moved into Fulda. Lorraine entered the Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Fulda in April of 2010 and passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the age of 90.†She was a member of St. Gabrielís Catholic Church in Fulda where she was active with the FCCW and the church board. Lorraine was also a member of the Fulda Pink Ladies and the Fulda VFW Auxiliary, where she was the last surviving charter member. Lorraine had served on the Maple Lawn Board, Fulda Heritage Society and the County Extension Club. She enjoyed volunteering and being involved in the community.

Survivors include her five children: Kay (Dale) Heimermann, St. Cloud, MN, Bernie (Linda) Wisdorf, Bloomington, MN, Mark (Deb) Wisdorf, Faribault, MN, Randy (Teri) Wisdorf, Shoreview, MN and Jon (Jill) Wisdorf, Plymouth, MN; daughter-in-law Tara Wisdorf,Grafton, WI; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Ray (Charlotte) Wisdorf, Federal Way, WA and sister-in-law Marge Miranowski, Slayton, MN.† She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Joan; son Don; two sisters,: Bernice Twinen and Dorothy Bothwell and two brothers:, J.B. and Don Miranowski.

Funeral services will be held at St. Gabrielís Catholic Church Fulda, MN at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 with Fr. Andrew Vogel celebrating.†The organist is Dana Hogan. Special music provided by Sheila Crowley and Rick Goedtke. The pallbearers are her grandchildren.† Interment at St. Gabrielís Cemetery Fulda, MN. †

Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.† The Totzke Funeral Home in Fulda is assisting the family with arrangements.† Sign guestbook online at ††
