Buttermakers undefeated for the week
By: Mark Zinnel- Buttermaker Reporter Hadley pushed their winning streak to five games in a row as they went 3-0 for the week. Highlight for the week was a no-hitter tossed by Sam Erickson in Sunday's second game. Here is a recap of the week's play: Wednesday, June 19, Hadley vs. Minneota

Hadley traveled to Minneota to take on the Mudhens. Hadley made sure to take their hot bats along with them to Minneota as they pounded out 16 hits in a convincing win. Justin Reinsma took to the mound for the Buttermakers.

Hadley scored two runs in the first inning to take an early lead. Nate Wieneke led off by working out a walk and then moved to second on a successful stolen base. With two outs in the inning, Nick Bruning singled to score Wieneke. After Bruning stole second base, Max Zwart singled to score Bruning. Hadley added two more runs in the third following an Eric Wieneke two-run home run to move up 4-0 lead.

Hadley broke the game open in the sixth as they batted 11 men in the inning and scored seven times on seven hits which included four doubles and a two-run home run hit by Nick Bruning to go up 11-0.
