Sean Solheim, local photographer, displays his photo which is presently part of the space station.
“I first learned of the photograph possibly heading to the space station about 5 months ago,” said Solheim.
Sean Solheim, a 2010 graduate of Murray County Central, is particularly interested in the recent space launch. Amongst items the astronaunt, Karen Nyberg, took along on the trip is one of Solheim’s photographs.

Solheim began his photography career while working for the Murray County News in 2008 and has since created Sean Solheim Photography sporting his talents as a portrait photographer.

One such portrait is now included on this space flight. Solheim’s friend, Caleb Hackbarth, asked him to photograph him and his girlfriend, Sami Nyberg, prior to his deployment to Afghanistan last fall. It is one of these photographs that made the trip to the space station.
