Local VFW ladies proudly serve area

Ask any of its loyal members and they're say what they do isn't that big of deal.  But then take into consideration that at this time of year, specifically on Memorial Day, each and every war veteran's grave is commemorated by an American flag helping to insure that their sacrifice will not long be forgotten.  It's the little things that mean so much and the members of the Veterans of Foreign (V.F.W.) Ladies Auxiliary see to it that those things are never forgotten. 

It is the Ladies Auxiliary members who display the American flag in color guard formation at the start of parades, standing proudly next to members of the Legion as well as the V.F.W.  The unfailing support of veterans is a testament to their strength and generosity.  But more importantly, as the adage goes, their work is never done.
