The Slayton Police Department (SPD) was contacted by an adult male at 12:48 on the morning of May 1, 2013 reporting his dog was missing. A description of the dog was provided, and the caller requested to be contacted if his dog was located.

A funeral escort was provided at 11:09 that morning from Trinity Lutheran Church to Memorial Garden.

SPD was called to the 2700 block of Broadway Avenue at 12:16 in the morning to a minor motor vehicle collision. Damage was very minor to both vehicles and no injuries were reported at the time. The drivers exchanged information. Only a local report was filed.

SPD conducted a urine analysis at the Murray County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) facility in the 2500 block of 29th Street at 4:24 that afternoon.
