City of Lake Wilson to add new playground system

In Heins Park
Lake Wilson has been ravaged by devastating disasters in the past years. Another step in beautifying the area, the City of Lake Wilson began looking at upgrading the Heins Park last summer. City council members Neal Gilbertson, Deb Nelson, Zach McFarland, Mike Chapman, Diane Scotting and city clerk, Charlotte VanderSchaff looked at several different playground systems and decided on an amount and then researched to find something that would meet the needs of the area children.

Deb Nelson, council member, did some research and was able to write, and obtain, a 50/50 match grant to aid in the expense of a playground system.
