A list of fun and family orientated activities for you to try this summer.
With the arrival of spring and summer just around the corner, kids are looking forward to summer vacation. Summer is not a time to cut back on physical activity and nutrition. With all the extra free time, it is important to encourage your children to stay active and not let the summer go to waste by sitting in front of the TV or computer.

Summer is the time to go outside and be active. So lather on some sunscreen and head outside! Children six years and under are encouraged to enjoy daily physical activity such as running, jumping, skipping, and other more natural forms of exercise. Children ages six to seventeen are able to exercise at a higher intensity for up to sixty minutes per day, five days per week.
