Cross Country and Track were the sports that Schuyler Canfield always concentrated on when he was in high school. When he began his search for a college to attend, running cross country wasn’t a deciding factor, but to him, it definitely would have been nice. Gustavus Adolphus offered Cross Country as an organized sport and Canfield wasted no time trying out for the team, and since his first meet, he has made drastic improvements to his collegiate career.

Canfield, who was a 2011 graduate of Murray County Central, has always had a passion for running. His passion and hard work for cross country paid off his Junior and Senior years of high school when he was named to the All-Conference team both years. He usually always led the Rebels at each meet during those couple of years as well.
