if you're young enough stay for the lock-in!
The eighth grade students in the Faith Formation program that make up the three parishes of St. Ann, St. Columba and St. Mary, Slayton, Iona and Lake Wilson, came up with an idea to give more of themselves to those who benefit. The plan was hatched during Lent when the discussion turned to what a group of young students could do to draw closer to God during the Lenten season.

Discussion was centered on the word prejudice. How people have a tendency to judge others without thinking of consequences or how they come to dislike a person or an idea. “What can you do?” was the question their catechist asked of them.
