When this latest round of winter precipitation melts, we'll find ourselves in the second half of April. The realization of a late start to spring may cause many of us to want to get out in the yard to make up for lost time, as we work to rake up the winter debris, fertilize the lawn, etc. However, doing some of these spring tasks too soon may do more harm than good to your lawn.

Warmer temperatures, melting snow, and the spring thaw can lead to soggy conditions in many yards.
