Funeral services were held at First Lutheran Church Dundee, MN at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 25, 2013 with the Rev. Mark Yackle-Juleen officiating.
1963 - Kraig Martin Magnussen - 2013

Kraig Magnussen, the son of Kenneth and Geraldine “Jerrie” Schaffer Magnussen, was born on December 24, 1963 in Worthington, Minnesota. He grew up in Dundee, Minnesota and attended school in Fulda, Minnesota graduating in 1982. He later graduated from STC in Jackson, Minnesota. Kraig was united in marriage to Michelle Jongma on October 1, 1994 at the United Methodist Church in Worthington. After their marriage they lived in Heron Lake, Minnesota for one year before moving to Dundee. In 2005 they moved to Fulda where they continued to live. Kraig passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the age of 49. He was a member of First Lutheran Church Dundee, MN. Kraig was also a 4-H Leader for many years. He enjoyed camping, boating, hunting, fishing and following the Minnesota Vikings.

Survivors include his wife Michelle Magnussen, Fulda, MN; three sons: Kenneth, Kody and Karter Magnussen all of Fulda, MN; mother Jerrie Magnussen, Dundee, MN; two sisters: Sonya (Chuck) Tennessen, Brewster, MN and Pam (Jerry) Steen, Westbrook, MN; two brothers: Kim (Nona) Magnussen, Garvin, MN and Kevin (Deb) Magnussen, Garvin, MN; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Funeral services were held at First Lutheran Church Dundee, MN at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 25, 2013 with the Rev. Mark Yackle-Juleen officiating. The organist was Norma Dittman. The soloist was Margie Salentiny. The pallbearers were Chad Magnussen, Kris Magnussen, Jason Steen, Jonathon Steen, Rhonda Larson and Maxwell Miller. Honorary pallbearers were his nieces and great nieces and nephews. Interment at the Dundee Lutheran Cemetery Dundee, MN. The Totzke Funeral Home in Fulda is assisting the family with arrangements.
