Library's Winter Reading Program

March 27, 2013

Hot Reads for Cold Nights Winter
This year's Hot Reads for Cold Nights Winter Reading program at the Slayton Public Library is winding down and will end on March 31. Those participating in the annual reading incentive program should complete their reading records and return them to the library. By completing the program and reading at least 12 books throughout the three month period, library patrons are given a choice of either a personalized coffee mug or Post-it notes booklet as a prize.

The reading program this year attracted 100 readers, with many of them reading far beyond the required dozen books in the allotted time.

Hot Reads for Cold Nights is a collaborative effort of the Plum Creek Library System in conjunction with libraries across the state.
