Public Notice
The Murray County Planning Commission will hold public hearings on Thursday, March 21, 2013, commencing at 7:00 pm, in the County Commissioner's Meeting Room, Murray County Government Center, Slayton, MN, to take public comment and act on the following requests in the order listed below: 1. Applicant: Kluis Farms Property Location: E1/2, Section 28, Fenton Township, Murray County Application: To expand an existing feedlot by constructing an addition to the total confinement cattle barn with concrete manure storage pit in the Agriculture District. After construction and expansion, the site total would be 990 Slaughter Steers (990 Animal Units). 2. Applicant: Chuck Hill Property Location: NW1/4, Section 7, Leeds Township, Murray County Application: To construct a free-stall dairy barn and a lagoon for an existing feedlot that is registered for 490 animal units in the Agriculture District. All interested parties are invited to attend.
