RN to BSN Program

February 20, 2013

applications being accepted
Marshall, MN - Applications for the new RN to BSN degree program at Southwest Minnesota State University will be evaluated during the month of March, said Jane Wrede, Director of Nursing.

“First, someone interested in the program must be admitted to the university,” she said. “Once they are admitted, we will evaluate applications into the RN to BSN program during the month of March.”

The RN to BSN degree makes its debut in the fall of 2013. A cohort of between 25-30 nurses will be accepted into the program each fall and spring semester, she said. Students will enter the program with at least a two-year nursing degree, and will take 60 additional credits — 30 nursing credits, and 30 liberal arts credits.
