Good, reliable babysitters are always in demand. If you would like to become just that, the babysitting clinic is for you! A babysitting clinic, sponsored by University of Minnesota Extension-Murray County, will begin on March 4. Classes will be held March 4, 5, 7, 11 and 12 from 3:10-5:00 p.m. at the Fulda Elementary School cafeteria. Topics covered include playing with children of all ages, safety and first aid, nutrition, infant care, handling crisis, discipline techniques, and responsibilities of the sitter. Snacks are served at each class and students receive handouts of topics discussed. The cost for this clinic is $15.00. The fee may be paid when registering at the Community Education Office in Fulda or at the Extension Office in Slayton. Registration deadline is February 25. |
