Valentineís Day celebrated at Murray County Central West Elementary

Kindergarten Connection hosts Valentineís program and activities
The students in the Kindergarten Connection class put on a performance for parents and grand parents. The program had a few different songs that included jumping, clapping, and hitting sticks.

Mrs. Bengstonís 5th grade class held a decorating contest for their Valentineís Day boxes. There were five categories that students could enter.

When Valentineís Day comes around, most kids get excited for the candy that fills their bags, but Kyle Johnson in Mrs. Frasierís 2nd grade class had a different idea. On the day before Valentineís Day, he told Mrs. Frasier of a different outlook on Valentineís Day. ďItís not about the candy, itís about the card you get inside and the message thatís on them.Ē Johnson said.
