The Slayton Police Department (SPD) cited a juvenile female at 3:35 on the afternoon of January 4, 2013 with failure to yield to a school bus in the area of 22nd Street and Maple Avenue.

SPD was contacted at 9:36 that night regarding an individual who had left his diabetic supplies at the archery club in the 1900 block of Engebretsen Avenue. The caller only knew the individuals first name. SPD advised the caller to leave the supplies at the club with a note.

January 5

An adult male in the 2500 block of Garnet Avenue contacted SPD at 9:16 on the night of January 5, 2013 to inquire how to obtain a protection or anti harassment order, because an individual has been harassing the callerís girlfriend. SPD advised the caller of the options.
