The Buffalo Ridge District of the Sioux Council held their annual Ice Fishoree on Saturday, January 12, 2012. Boy Scout troops and Cub Scout packs from the district and the region were invited to test their luck on the ice.
While the sun shined brightly across the ice, bitterly cold winds of twenty-four miles per hour complemented the winter event while the mercury climbed to eight degrees. Most of the fishing was done by noon.
